Shieldwall Brotherhood Update – Big Things Are Coming!

We know this month’s newsletter has been a bit quiet – thanks for sticking with us! While things have been silent on the surface, behind the scenes, some exciting plans have been underway.

First up, we’re thrilled to announce the opening of the Shieldwall Hub – a space for men’s mental health, community, and connection. This is just the start of a series of projects we’ve been working on to support our members and the wider community.

On top of that, we’re joining forces with Team Iron Kidney to bring even more energy, resources, and opportunities to our initiatives. Together, we’re aiming to make a real difference and have some fun along the way!

Stay tuned – the next few months are going to be action-packed, and we can’t wait to share it all with you.

Keep an eye on our socials and our website for updates – the best is yet to come!

Basingstoke

NEWSLETTER

Welcome Brothers,

We’d like to start by extending a huge thank you to Jack and his team for helping make the Shieldwall Brotherhood possible here in our local community. Their support has allowed us to build something meaningful for the lads of Basingstoke, and we’re proud of what’s already taking shape.

FIRST SOCIAL MEET-UP

Our First Social Meet-Up

This month marked our first official social meet-up at the Postbox Sports Bar, bringing the lads together for introductions, connection, and open conversation.

Our Captain Tony and Vice-Captain Cliff were introduced and led the session brilliantly. The atmosphere was welcoming, supportive, and full of honest conversation — a strong start for this growing Brotherhood.

WALK & TALK EVENT

Walk & Talk at War Memorial Park

We also held our first Walk & Talk around War Memorial Park. Despite the cooler weather, it was a refreshing stroll, followed by coffee and good chats at The Project at The Orchard.
(Tony definitely needed that coffee ☕)

Feedback from everyone has been incredibly positive, and the group continues to grow in strength with every meet-up.

ONLINE CONNECTION

First Group Video Call

Our first group video call welcomed members who couldn’t attend in person and gave everyone the chance to meet our founder, Jack. The session was full of laughter, conversation, and genuine connection — proving that Brotherhood goes beyond physical meet-ups.

🎄 CHRISTMAS PERIOD NOTICE

Important Notice

There will be no official meet-ups between:
🗓 23rd December – 28th December

However, the group chat will remain open.
If you need support, please reach out — one of us will be there.

You are not alone. We are here for you.

LEADERSHIP MESSAGES

Captain Tony

“We are incredibly proud of how the local community has responded to the Shieldwall Brotherhood and grateful to have been offered a social meeting spot. I look forward to seeing you all after Christmas.”

Vice-Captain Cliff

“Although the Basingstoke chapter is new, we are extremely proud of our members for taking those first steps. Feedback has been overwhelmingly positive, and we will continue to grow together.
Even through Christmas, remember we are here if you need someone to listen.
Wishing you all a very Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year.”
