Meet our team

The Shieldwall Brotherhood cic is led by a passionate team of local men dedicated to building a positive, supportive community across Liverpool. Each member of our leadership team brings unique strengths — from event planning and outreach to wellbeing support and creative development.

Together, we organise walks, social meetups, charity events, and awareness projects designed to bring men together, tackle isolation, and promote mental health in a down-to-earth, brotherly way.

We’re not just a team — we’re a family of brothers working side by side to make a real difference in our city and beyond. ⚔️

Executive Director/ safeguarding officer

As executive director of The Shieldwall Brotherhood, I oversees the wellbeing of members, organises walks, hikes, and activities, and helps shape new ideas for the group. After reaching out for help online, i found real support and brotherhood here — an experience that changed my life and inspired me to help others do the same.

“The Brotherhood means everything to me. We stand for support, loyalty, respect, and laughter where strangers truly become brothers.”

Outside of the Brotherhood, i enjoy spending time with his four children, golfing, and fishing.

Clifford mcnamee

Operations Officer/safeguarding officer

Hello, I’m Cliffy.

I’m 50 years old and a proud father of five. I love walking with my Australian Kelpies and camping with my family.

Like many of us, my life has had its highs and lows, and I know how hard life can hit when you’re already down. If I can help someone navigate a better path or support them through the low moments, I’m always here to listen.

I’ve found real strength and support through The Shieldwall Brotherhood, and I truly believe you can too.

You’re not alone.

PETER AKA PWACK

Operations Officer/managing Recruiter

We’ve got big plans ahead — more hikes, days out, team-building, travelling, and spreading awareness of who we are and what we do. We’re also working on new merchandise like hoodies, T-shirts, caps, and keyrings to represent the Brotherhood.

My favourite quote is “It is what it is.” Because in life, we can’t control everything, but we can be grateful for the blessings we have — and being part of a brotherhood makes life that much better.

Let’s connect, build friendships, support each other, and keep growing this safe, loyal, and powerful community together.

Dylan mcknight

 Safeguarding officer/Recruiter

Outside of The Shieldwall Brotherhood, Dylan enjoys getting outdoors with his dogs, Kai and Zeus, and spending quality time with his family and friends. He values connection, balance, and the importance of strong support networks, both within the Brotherhood and beyond.
